Step 5 - Repeat steps 2 through 4 to attach wood plates to the top of stilts with 2 bolts on each stilt. Sandwich a 16 inch length of velcro between the plate and stilt. The side of my calf will rest against this wooden plate held in place by the velcro.

Step 6 - Attach the two wooden foot plates to the stilts using 3 - two inch steel screws in each plate. Then attach additional lengths of velcro around foot plates, screwing them to the underside of the plates with 3/4" screws and fender washers.

Step 7 - Using a mat knife or box cutter, carefully cut a slit in two tennis balls and attach them to the bottoms of the stilts. This may require additional means to keep them in place such as screws or tape.

Step 8 - Practic and enjoy! Some minor adjustments may be required as to the placement of velcro straps and foot pads. These should be able to be modified even after construction.
