Research and Sketches

Here is a sketch of how I plan to assemble the stilts. I note the use of materials and rough dimenstions. The front and side view hopefully clarify how I plan to proceed and revealed that the foot pads need to be pushed forward so my calves will align with the upright posts while my feet stay firmly attached to the foot pads.
An example of the velcro I will use for the straps.

An example of the 2x2 lumber I plan to use for the upright legs.
An example of the plywood I would like to use for the foot pads, calf pads and upright supports
